ADIDAS ASYLUM

Adidas will take the torch from the Refugee Olympic Team that debuted at the 2016 Rio Olympics, by fully sponsoring the refugees that are set to train for and compete in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

INTRODUCING TEAM AGON

The sponsorship pivots around the rebranding of refugee team as “Team Agon” (agon being the Greek word for "struggle") and the opening of Adidas Asylum, a state-of-the-art training facility in Berlin, Germany, one of the few countries with an open door immigration policy.

ANTHEM SPOT

An anthem spot will be released in the weeks leading up to the Games.

OOH

The members of Team Agon are more than refugees. They are resilient athletes.

A flag emblazoned with the Team Agon’s logo unites the refugees without ostracizing them from the rest of the athletes.
